Cody was born and raised in Yukon, Oklahoma. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University. He then earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law. While in law school, Cody was active in the Agriculture and Environmental Law Association. He also had the privilege to intern for Judge Suzanne Mitchell at the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. Cody credits the agriculture industry for helping develop his strong work ethic and character.
